Kate Middleton’s wedding gift to Pippa proves just how thoughtful an older sister she really is.

She was dutifully looking out for her younger sister on her big day, keeping an eye on the troupe of young bridesmaids and page boys, and ensuring that she looked perfect walking down the aisle.

However Kate contributed much more to the wedding than just her child minding skills, having reportedly sketched the picture of St Mark’s Church which was printed on the wedding programmes.

According to The Sun, Reverend Nick Wynne-Jones referenced her talents during the service, saying it was a ‘lovely piece.’

Kate’s artwork is said to have gotten a second mention later on in the evening, with her brother-in-law James Matthews singling her out during his speech.

He said: ‘And to Pippa’s sister Kate, such ability – a beautiful drawing of St Mark’s church in the order of service.’

Referring to the reading she did during the ceremony he said, ‘A flawless reading and a kind loan of two adorable little ones.’

Pippa tied the knot to her other half James on Saturday at St Mark’s Church in Englefield.

Their wedding reception was held at Pippa’s family home nearby.
