Ever wanted to know exactly how Jourdan Dunn applies her mascara? Or maybe you've always wondered how Kim Kardashian literally never looks tired despite being one of the busiest ladies in showbiz?

Well if that sounds like you - good news! We've rounded up some make-up hacks the A-list swears by.

Jourdan Dunn's credit card mascara masterclass

Model Jourdan never steps out looking less than perfect and that's because, in part, she's nailed her mascara application.

"I remember when I first started doing shows, this make-up artist, Renee Garnes, who I still work with, got her credit card and put it behind my eyelashes," she explained in an interview with Marie Claire U.K. "She then got the mascara and started to apply it against the card. It made such a difference, it looked like I had falsies on."

Kim Kardashian's under eye secret

Make-up artist Mario Dedivanovic is Kim's go-to guy when it comes to flawless make-up, with the reality TV star even teaming with the New Yorker for a special line through her KKW Beauty brand. And luckily for us, Mario is happy to divulge his secrets. During a live event which saw Mario doing Kim's make-up, he revealed he likes to use low-cost haemorrhoid cream Preparation H to smooth under-eye wrinkles.

"It tightens the skin," he shared. "That's a really old, old trick. It smells really bad but it works."

He also divulged that he applies Kim's foundation on her neck in an upwards motion as "she likes me to brush up, not down, because she likes me to lift her skin, not pull her neck down."

Nicole Kidman's juice fix

Nicole Kidman switches between red and blonde hair on a regular basis, often transitioning from one to the other so seamlessly that we hardly notice. But whatever shade she is, Nicole knows just how to keep her hair looking its best.

"If you've got red hair, try washing it in cranberry juice and if you're blonde, a champagne rinse can work wonders," she previously shared.

Pouring a cup of cranberry juice over her hair after shampooing will reportedly seal the cuticle, which boosts shine and enhances colour.

Catherine Zeta-Jones's strawberry smile

Want white teeth but aren't keen on the prices of painful teeth whitening treatments? Look no further than the humble strawberry.

"I love to eat an apple after a meal, just to cleanse my teeth - they always look polished afterwards,' she once told Now magazine. "If there aren't any apples in the fruit bowl, a strawberry will suffice. The juice or pulp of strawberries contains malic acid which serves as an astringent and can lighten surface stains."

She also admitted she turns to beer for shiny hair.

"I do condition my hair with honey and beer. I smell like the bottom of a beer barrel for days afterwards but it's very good for the hair," she laughed.
