Tom Brady's missing New England jersey has been valued at $A650,000 by police after it was believed to have been stolen after the Patriots' Super Bowl win.

A game jersey belonging to New England quarterback Tom Brady, believed to have been stolen shortly after his NFL team's Super Bowl victory, has been valued at $US500,000 ($A650,000) by police.

Brady, who led the Patriots to an overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons on February 5 in Houston, filed a police report with local police the day after the game, according to a copy of the report obtained by TMZ Sports.

The report said that the "quarterback Tom Brady noticed his game jersey missing from his locker" after the win at NRG stadium.

The investigation of the crime, which has been classed as a first class felony, is still "open with no new developments," according to TMZ Sports.

Video from Yahoo Sports, filmed shortly after the game, showed Brady speaking to team owner Robert Kraft in the Patriots' locker room about the missing jersey.

"Someone stole my game jersey," Brady said, before Kraft responded that he better look online for it.

The 25-point comeback by the Patriots, which saw them win 34-28, gave them their fifth title and was the largest comeback in Super Bowl history.
