2016 Dems React To GOP Debate

The Huffington Post The Huffington Post 11/11/2015 Alana Horowitz Satlin

The Republican presidential candidates debated on Tuesday night, and their Democratic counterparts were having none of it.

Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) repeated his time-honored tradition of livetweeting the GOP debates, and both former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley joined in too.

As the Republican hopefuls sparred over military spending, Sanders pointed out that veterans' issues were largely ignored:

As Donald Trump and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) lamented illegal immigration, Clinton took a moment to reach out to Spanish-speaking voters:

After the candidates unanimously opposed an increase to the federal minimum wage, O'Malley reminded viewers that he doesn't:

And after watching the Republicans ignore facts for two hours, Clinton said that she was "proud to be a Democrat."
