The best-of-seven-series is levelled at two apiece, with game five in San Antonio at midday on Wednesday (NZT).

San Antonio looked well in control after winning the first quarter 27-17 at the Chesapeake Energy Arena on Monday (NZT), but the Thunder trimmed the margin to 53-45 at halftime and 81-77 at the three-quarter mark.

The final quarter was all Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant proving unstoppable with 17 points for the spell and 41 for the match as the Thunder took the quarter 34-16.

Adams, 22, again played a key role for Oklahoma, on court for a shade over 36 minutes for 16 points and 11 rebounds, including nine on the defensive boards.

He finished just one point astray of his NBA career-best of 17 points, a tally he's hit twice before, most recently in January this year.

Adams continues a rich vein of play-offs form, exemplified in game two when he hauled in 17 rebounds and 12 points as the Thunder edged the Spurs 98-97.
