© AP Images Kiwi centre Steven Adams unfurled one of his best performances but still played firmly in the shadow of star Oklahoma City Thunder team-mate Russell Westbrook in their latest win.

Adams produced 19 points, along with seven rebounds, two assists and two steals in their 114-101 win away to the Phoenix Suns, snapping a two-game losing streak.

A brilliant season continued for red-hot guard Westbrook, who delivered a career-high 22 assists, along with 26 points and 11 rebounds. It was the 50th triple-double of his career.

Westbrook was quick to pay credit to the likes of Adams, who he said made his job easy when it came to dishing off key passes.

"My teammates did a great job of spacing, catching and finishing, making some shots," he said.

"My job is to be able to find those guys. The ball is in my hands a lot."

It was the Thunder's 16th win from 27 games to remain seventh in the Western Conference.
