First-half tries to newcomer Trael Joass and veteran Sherwin Stowers gave the All Blacks Sevens a 12-0 half time lead.

Skipper Scott Curry celebrated his return from concussion by opening the second half with a try, while Ambrose Curtis added another before Andrew Knewstubb completed the scoring with a double.

The New Zealanders, who have yet to make a final in this year's world series, face Scotland and Canada in their two remaining pool matches.

The Kiwis sit fourth on the overall standings with 71 points, 10 behind third-placed England.

South Africa, who have won four of the five tournaments to date, lead with 107 points, with Fiji second on 83.
