New Zealand allrounder Corey Anderson has hinted at a return to form with a match-winning performance in the Indian Premier League.

Anderson struck an unbeaten 39 off 22 balls in front of a home crowd as Delhi posted 188-6 against Kings XI Punjab.

He then took 1-23 off three overs, removing South African danger man David Miller, as the visitors stuttered to 137-9.

A back injury meant Anderson played a limited part in the New Zealand domestic summer.

A gradual return to the bowling crease featured some short spells for Northern Districts over the last month.

The 26-year-old's performance is notable in an IPL season which has produced few Kiwi highlights to date.

Delhi have improved to third place, thanks to a second win from three games.
