Black Caps blaster Corey Anderson wants to emerge from the World Cup labelled cricket's best allrounder.

Black Caps allrounder Corey Anderson has delivered the match-winning blows in an important win for his Delhi Daredevils in the Indian Premier League.

Anderson whacked three sixes and two fours in his 24-ball 41 not out, trumping New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson in the beaten Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Williamson scored 24 at a run-a-ball in his team's 185-3 before Delhi stormed to 189-4 off 19.1 overs, propelled by Anderson, whose team needed 77 off 50 balls when he arrived at the crease.

The win lifted the sixth-placed Daredevils to a third win from nine games and keeps them in semi-final contention with five matches to play.

Third-placed Hyderabad have won six of 11 games.
