Deportivo La Coruna and Las Palmas have played out a 1-1 draw in La Liga.

Deportivo La Coruna have snatched a 1-1 draw away at Las Palmas in La Liga.

The hosts took the lead through Mateo Garcia in the 12th minute, with the winger notching his first league goal of the season.

A cross was only half cleared and Mateo fired in a strike which was deflected past Przemyslaw Tyton.

The hosts were on top but in the 69th minute Emre Colak played Florin Andone in down the left flank and he lashed the ball home to level.

Las Palmas played the last 17 minutes with 10 men after Aythami Artiles was sent off for two bookings, which he collected in the space of just four minutes.

The result leaves both teams where they started in the table, with Las Palmas in 10th and Deportivo 15th.

Meanwhile, the sprinklers turned on accidentally during the second half, to the amusement of supporters and consternation of officials.
