NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 10/06/2016

An eleventh person has been arrested over the kidnapping and death of Auckland woman Jindarat Prutsiriporn.

An investigation into the death of Ms Prutsiriporn began after she escaped while bound and gagged from the boot of a moving car in the south Auckland suburb of Papatoetoe in March.

She later died at Middlemore Hospital after suffering a serious head injury.

Ten people have already pleaded not guilty to various charges of manslaughter and kidnapping and will stand trial in May 2017.

A 29-year-old man was arrested on Friday morning and charged with kidnapping.

He will appear in Manukau District Court on Friday afternoon.
