Arrests following Northland ram raid

NZ Newswire logoNZ Newswire 5/05/2017

Three men have been arrested following the ram raid of a Northland petrol station last week.

The incident at Paparoa on April 26 included the taking of an RSA poppy donation box.

Two 18-year-old men and a 16-year-old youth have been arrested and charged with burglary after members of the public came forward with information. They have admitted their involvement, police say.

A fourth person is still being sought.

Inspector Justin Rogers says it is hoped the "poor decisions" of the teens can be put right with the service station owner and local RSA.
