BRISBANE, Australia — Australia prop Allan Alaalatoa has been ruled out of next Saturday's Rugby Championship match against Argentina in Perth due to a knee injury.

Alaalatoa injured the knee during Saturday night's 23-17 win over South Africa, and team management said Sunday that scans revealed a medial ligament strain.

Toby Smith and Tom Robertson have been called into camp as cover for Alaalatoa, who was making his third test appearance.

Australia's win ended a six-match losing streak. Argentina was beaten 57-22 by the tournament-leading New Zealand on Saturday.
