Ben Affleck Wrote His Own 'Batman' Script Because, Um, Wouldn't You?

Give a man a "Batfleck" script and you feed him for a day. Write your own "Batfleck" script and you'll be full for a franchise.

Man of many masks Ben Affleck has taken the fate of the caped crusader into his hands, reportedly penning his own "Batman" script.

Affleck, who recently starred in the wildly successful but critically underwhelming "Batman v Superman," has written screenplays for his films "Good Will Hunting" and "Gone Baby Gone" in the past, but Batman would mark a departure from his typical drama-heavy fare.

"He's contracted to do at least 'Justice League One' and 'Two,' so at least three times wearing the cape," William Morris Endeavor co-CEO Patrick Whitesell told The Hollywood Reporter. "There's a script that he's written that is a really cool [Batman] idea, so that's out there as an option."

Rumors of Affleck's involvement in the creative process for future Batman films were sparked at Comic-Con last year, when THR reported that Affleck was attached to write, direct and star in a solo project, after consulting with DC head honcho Geoff Johns.

Apart from his involvement with the "Justice League" franchise, Affleck is set to make an appearance in this year's "Suicide Squad" and expected to face-off against Jared Leto's Joker.

Anything to avoid this reaction again, right Affleck?
