Third-seeded duo Kiki Bertens and Johanna Larsson have won the ASB Classic doubles title after defeating Demi Schuurs and Renata Voracova 6-2, 6-2.

It was all too easy for the Dutch and Swedish pair, who got more than 80 per cent of their first serves in and wrapped up the match in less than an hour.

Already good friends off the court, the two players will now move on to tournaments in Australia, including the Open in Melbourne.

"We both played really well and enjoyed it," Larsson said.

Both pairs got off to a shaky start in calm conditions, with the first three service games all broken before Bertens and Larsson eventually managed to hold serve.

The duo, aged 25 and 28 respectively, then broke their opponents' serve again to claim a commanding 5-1 position, which they rode out to win 6-2.

The second set started a little closer, with both pairs holding serve in their first two service games until the third-seeds took control.

Bertens and Larsson broke twice to serve for the match, which they managed to close out with a thumping ace at deuce.
