NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 16/05/2016

Police are searching for a blue van parked in the Dome Valley near where a woman was found seriously injured at the side of a road.

Three people, two women aged 42 and 28 and a 38-year-old man, have been arrested after the victim aged in her 20s was found by a member of the public last Monday by the side of the road.

She was flown to Auckland Hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

As police continue their investigation, they are looking for an older-style blue van that was parked on Waiwhiu Conical Peak Road between 8 and 11pm on May 8.

Officers also wish to hear from anyone near the Dome Valley lookout at the same time.

Earlier on Monday, the 42-year-old woman appeared in the North Shore District Court on one charge of kidnapping where she was granted interim name suppression.

The 28-year-old woman, who is charged with two counts of kidnapping and one charge of threatening to kill, and the man, who faces a kidnapping charge, are set to appear in court on Tuesday.
