Bluebridge ferries back up and running

The Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferry services are now back up and running after Monday morning's earthquake followed by stormy conditions.

Both its vessels, the Strait Feronia and Straitsman, are back on but delays can still be expected due to port damage.

"It's taking longer than usual to load and disembark the ships due to damage... we're delighted to have both ships back in operation and to be on our regular schedule," said Ed Menzies, general manager commercial of Strait Shipping which owns Bluebridge.
