Brian Cox to tour Down Under with new show

Brian Cox © Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock/Rex Images Brian Cox British scientist and star-gazer extraordinaire, Professor Brian Cox, is returning to tour Australia in a new live stage show that he will also bring to New Zealand.

Famous for TV shows such as the recent Forces of Nature which aired on the ABC and Human Universe, the particle physicist has a way of making the most complex scientific theories relatable.

And he practises what he preaches as he works at the University of Manchester and Royal Society as the Professor for Public Engagement in Science. He has also carried out research at the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Switzerland and the HI experiment at DESY in Hamburg.

He will also be returning to TV in Australia over three nights on April 4, 5 and 6 for Stargazing Live, broadcasting live from Australia's Siding Spring Observatory, to encourage the nation to look up and appreciate the cosmos.

His live show will take place later in the year and Cox will be joined on stage by Robin Ince, the British comedian and his co-host on BBC Radio 4's The Infinite Monkey Cage, who joined him on his last tour of Australia in 2016.
