Bus driver robbed on Christchurch road

A bus driver has been robbed while parked on a Christchurch road and police say they are seeking two males over the incident.

They also want to speak to anyone who noticed suspicious behaviour in the Broadhaven Avenue and Bower Avenue area of New Brighton on Monday morning.

The driver was parked on Broadhaven Avenue after 10am when he was robbed of a small amount of cash.

Police say one of the males they are looking for was described as being of Maori or Pacific Island descent, aged 19 to 20, about 1.78m tall, of solid build and with dark hair.

He was wearing a black and white hoodie, dark pants and gloves.

The other was described as a 17-year-old of Pacific Island descent, about 1.75m tall and of medium build.

He was wearing wearing a black hoodie and pants.
