Three men, aged 20, 29 and 30, along with a 19-year-old female have been charged with the aggravated robbery of a dairy in Napier.

The men entered Westshore Dairy on Alfred Street at about 2pm on Friday, and demanded money and tobacco products at knife-point, police say.

A member of the public saw the men running away and getting into a waiting car and gave a description to police.

The car was located and the four people in it were arrested.

The three men will appear in court on Saturday.

The stolen property was recovered.
