Chiefs pair sign new Super Rugby deal

New All Blacks prop Kane Hames and winger Toni Pulu have extended their Super Rugby contracts with the Chiefs.

Hames, 28, has signed for the 2017 season, while 27-year-old Pulu has sealed a two-year deal.

Head coach Dave Rennie said both signings were important acquisitions for the Chiefs.

"Toni's speed, power and ability to finish saw him start consistently but it's his character and work ethic that impresses most," he said.

"Kane is his own man, an innovative thinker and played a big role alongside Carl Hoeft in developing our scrum and young props.
