Chris Hemsworth learned a valuable lesson in how to keep his wife happy recently.

The key is not to use her expensive moisturiser!

In an interview with GQ, the Thor actor admitted that his wife Elsa Pataky wasn’t too pleased when he used her La Mer cream to treat his sunburn.

It may not seem like a big deal, but the cream costs around €350 and there’s a lot of shoulder to cover on that man.

Even though only his shoulders were burned, he apparently lathered his ‘whole body’ in the pricey cream and naturally Elsa wasn’t too impressed.

He said: She uses a lot of La Mer products, which, you know, cost a small fortune so she’s less than happy when I use that face moisturiser over my whole body.

‘I found out the hard way when I used her $400 cream for a sunburn one time. That wasn’t the best option.’

Since then, Chris has opted to use coconut oil to treat his sunburn and to keep his skin hydrated.

He said it’s much better for your skin and much cheaper than the La Mer option. And we suppose keeping Elsa happy is another thing in coconut oil’s favour.

He also chatted about how he doesn’t use aerosol deodorants anymore and opts for ‘natural’ ones instead.

He said: ‘I haven’t used a spray deodorant for a long time due to the chemicals and the negative effects on the environment, so I tend to [use] natural roll-on.

‘There’s a couple of locally made ones here in Byron Bay that are pretty heavy. Pretty efficient.’

Now that’s what we call a superhero.
