There is no shortage of drama in Weathefield.

And that looks set to continue, this week, as fans of Coronation Street will witness first-hand - as Billy's hidden secret comes to the fore.

In scenes that'll broadcast over the coming days, Eileen Phelan and Eva Price are shocked to find him comatose in the flat with a bottle of suspect painkillers.

Upset and embarrassed, Billy breaks down and admits that the medication is the only thing keeping him going after Todd's shock departure.

Worried for his welfare, Eva promises to help, but is her support enough to change his fate? Or will Adam make this worse?

One thing's for sure: the much-maligned vicar won't have much time to do his u-turn.

Last week he was seen writhing in pain as his addiction took greater gold, leaving adopted daughter Summer assuming the role of parent.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the street, Robert Preston gets down on bended knee and pops the question to Michelle Connor. Will she say yes? Or has she had enough with commitment?

Only time will tell, but no doubt ex-boyfriend Steve MacDonald will have something to say about it.

Not that there's a lack of romance on the infamous cobbles, of course.

Bethany gives her mother, Sarah Platt, a much-needed make-over and arranges a date for her with local hunk, Aidan Connor - who's fresh from visiting Carla in the hospital.

Whether they succeed against the Corrie odds is yet to be seen. But here's hoping...
