Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers was brought to tears discussing the body-shaming lawsuit she was involved in after taking a naked photo of another woman and posting it on social media with an insulting caption.

"It just felt really low," she said on "Good Morning America" Wednesday after revealing she ended up hiding out at her mother's home to avoid paparazzi and death threats after the July incident.

Last week, the 30-year-old was sentenced to 30 days community service instead of the possibility of 45 days in jail after pleading no contest to the charge of misdemeanor invasion of privacy.

As she fought back tears, Mathers apologized to the victim on camera and shared that she had tried to reach out to her directly, but has been unable to do so.

"I just want her to be able to move on and move forward in her life and not feel judged or that what she was doing was being ridiculed because it had nothing to do with that and I'm so sorry," Mathers added.

The 2015 Playmate of the year had shared on Snapchat photo of the 70-year-old woman, which she captioned: "If I can't unsee this then you can't either."

Mathers' image was taken in the locker room of an L.A. Fitness facility and she was ultimately banned from all of their locations. She also lost her gig as a radio station host.

The model is hopeful that the body-shaming photo, which she maintains she meant to send privately to a friend, will not define her.

"It doesn't feel right," she said of gaining attention for the scandal. "That's not how I'm gonna choose to remember my life and my career. This is something that I'm never going to forget happened. I'm going to continue learning and growing from."
