Olympic silver medallist Eddie Dawkins has led a Kiwi clean sweep in the keirin on the final day of the Oceania track cycling championships in Melbourne.

Dawkins beat promising Manawatu rider Jordan Castle, with fellow Rio Olympic team sprint medallist Sam Webster third.

The victory follows Webster's win over Dawkins in the individual sprint on Friday.

Other New Zealand results featured Ellesse Andrews' second place in the scratch race, with compatriot Emily Shearman third.

In the two-rider madison, Michaela Drummond and Racquel Sheath took second behind Australians Annette Edmondson, the Rio omnium medallist, and Amy Cure.

Regan Gough teamed with Tom Sexton to finish third in the men's madison won by Miles Scotson and Kelland O'Brien (Australia).

The championships were the first chance to collect qualifying points for next year's world championships in Hong Kong in April.
