A desperate dad has taken to social media to launch a hunt for his son's missing teddy that was lost on a ScotRail train.

Twitter user Evo Lucas is hoping people will help try to find it as his three-year-old son is distraught after leaving it on board.

The dad and his son were on the Glasgow to Ayr train on Tuesday that left from Central Station at 9pm.

Unfortunately the teddy bear "that answers to the name of Bare" was left behind.

And now the caring father is determined to track it down with the public's help.

While Paddington Bear was made up the Ayr Bare is a real life story and we want you to help reunite the lost teddy and his owner.

If you have seen Bare or know where he is then get in touch with the Daily Record news desk by emailing reporters@dailyrecord.co.uk and we'll make sure a wee boy gets to cuddle his best pal again.
