Difference between Key and Little revealed

NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 12/04/2016

Prime Minister John Key and Labour leader Andrew Little are men of very different means, parliament's latest register of pecuniary interests shows.

Mr Key has listed a family trust and a blind trust, a family home in Auckland, a holiday home in the Rodney district and another at Maui in Hawaii.

He has interests in a Colorado property investment company and invests in a parliamentary retirement plan.

Mr Little lists a jointly-owned family home in Island Bay, Wellington. He has a KiwiSaver scheme and a mortgage.

The register doesn't show how much money MPs have invested in property and trusts.
