Donald Trump delivered a sweeping win in the Louisiana Republican primary Saturday.

The entertainer outperformed his closest rivals, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.)

Despite his victory, Trump won't be walking away with too many of the 46 allotted delegates in the state. Louisiana's delegate rules dictate each of the six districts will award three delegates proportionally, with no threshold. The remaining 28 state-wide delegates are also awarded proportionally, but they have a 20 percent threshold.

Editor's note: Donald Trump is a serial liarrampant xenophoberacistmisogynist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S.
