Drizzle delays Test play in Dunedin

NZ Newswire logoNZ Newswire 10/03/2017

Play has started on the third day of the first Test between New Zealand and South Africa in Dunedin after a half-hour delay due to overnight rain and continuing drizzle.

With South Africa 38-1, and holding a lead of five runs, play was twice pushed back but eventually got underway at 11.30 at University Oval.

Ninety-three overs are due to be bowled in the day, with an extra 27 minutes of play possible if weather and light permit.
