Drowned Bay of Plenty fisherman named

A fisherman who died near a Bay of Plenty river mouth has been named as Chao-Ching Lee.

The 35-year-old was a Te Puke resident.

Members of the public pulled him onto the beach on Sunday afternoon and attempted CPR about 600m from the Kaituna River mouth, Paengaroa.
