Cash truck staff were robbed at gunpoint outside Auckland's Eden Park stadium following Saturday night's All Blacks-Lions' game, police say.

Two men with guns held up two staff and robbed a van transporting money outside the stadium in Mount Eden at about 12.40am on Sunday.

Fans had already cleared out following the All Blacks' win over the British and Irish Lions with only staff left at the scene, police said.

No one was injured, but cash was taken.

The robbers fled in an white Audi station wagon, which was later found dumped at Royal Terrace.

The car was being forensically examined and police are appealing for witnesses.
