Eels' Radradra out for up to six weeks

Embattled Parramatta star Semi Radradra is out for up to six weeks after suffering a knee injury in the Eels' NRL win over the Sydney Roosters.

In the same week the Eels winger pleaded not guilty to three counts of domestic violence against his ex-partner, Radradra was caught in an awkward tackle on a routine carry midway through the first half.

He attempted to play on before succumbing to the far sideline and didn't return.

"I've been told it's a grade two medial so that's anywhere from four to six, I'd say," Eels coach Brad Arthur told Triple M on Saturday.

The loss of the two-time Dally M winger of the year is a huge blow to the Eels, who dropped to 12th on the ladder after officially being stripped of 12 competition points on Saturday for salary cap rorting dating to 2013.

Radradra's injury adds to an Eels casualty ward that already includes Kaysa Pritchard (knee), Vai Toutai (knee), Mitch Cornish (knee), and Kelepi Tanginoa (ankle), while Brad Takairangi (hamstring) was also a late withdrawal from the Roosters match.

All five are expected to be available for selection within the month.

John Folau (wrist) is another six weeks away, while Kieran Foran (shoulder) and Luke Kelly (knee) are out for the rest of the season.
