Fears for missing gang member

TeAriki Malloy © NZ Police TeAriki Malloy Police say they now have fears for the safety of a Hutt Valley Mongrel Mob gang member, more than a month after he allegedly took off his ankle bracelet and went missing.

On Wednesday, they issued a statement calling for information on 26-year-old TeAriki Malloy.

"Police now have fears for his safety."

Malloy was from the Hutt Valley but known to have contacts in Whanganui and Patea.

Early May, police said they were looking for him for breach of home detention after allegedly removing his ankle bracelet.

At the time they said he was known to have access to firearms and shouldn't be approached.

Malloy was described as Maori, about 172cm tall and of thin to medium build.

He has a bulldog tattoo on each forearm and the words "Seig" (sic) and "Heil" tattooed down the front of his lower legs.
