Former champions David Ferrer and John Isner are the latest confirmed starters for next January's ASB Classic.

World No.15 Ferrer, who was a semi-finalist earlier this year, has already won four Auckland titles while Isner has picked up two.

Ferrer has won 26 ATP career titles and amassed more than $US30 million in prize money - the seventh highest of all time.

The 34-year-old Spaniard is looking forward to returning to Auckland.

"I feel at home there - I have had a lot of success in Auckland, and I hope I can win one more event."

A towering 2.08m tall and ranked 26th in the world, Isner is one of the fastest servers on the ATP world tour, and enjoys the Auckland conditions.

"The courts will be fast again which suits my game and with the likes of Ferrer in the draw, there should be some good battles between the big servers and the returners," he said.

Defending champion Roberto Bautista Agut has already been confirmed for the 2017 line-up, and organisers are expecting to confirm more player signings in the next month.
