Flume celebrates new album with world tour

Sydney electronic artist Flume has announced an Australian tour later this year as part of a world trek to celebrate the release of his upcoming album, Skin.

Harley Streten, better known by his stage name Flume, will kick off his tour in Dunedin, New Zealand on July 19, before heading to North America and Europe.

He will then conclude his more than 40-gig tour in Australia, with shows in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide across November and December.

Supporting acts Vince Staples and UK producer SOPHIE will join him on his Australian dates.

The Holdin On artist recently closed Coachella's Outdoor Theatre in California, showcasing new material from his highly anticipated second album.

Skin is due for release on May 27.
