After calling Donald Trump a racist , comparing him to Hitler and refusing to pay for "that f***king wall," former Mexican President Vicente Fox is not backing down.

Fox told HuffPost Live last week that he doesn't plan to acquiesce to Trump's request for an apology . Instead, he doubled down on his criticism of the GOP frontrunner.

He is the one who has offended Mexicans, has offended Mexico -- as a nation and as a partner of the United States, has offended the Pope when the Pope was here in Mexico, has offended women, has offended Muslims, has offended [the] corporate world, has offended Wall Street and has offended everybody.

So when host Alyona Minkovski asked Fox if he would ever recant his critique, the former president kept his answer very clear.

"Never, never, never, never," he said.
