Fox consistency continues in Europe

Ryan Fox has completed a third straight top-30 finish on the European Tour, putting a second-round disaster in Munich behind him.

New Zealander Fox was 26th at the BMW International Open after closing with rounds of 68 and 70 over the weekend to finish on seven-under, 10 strokes behind Argentine winner Andres Romero.

A triple bogey eight midway through his second round was a major setback for Fox, who carded 20 birdies in the tournament and unleashed a much-improved putting display.

Three successive finishes in the 20s in June represent a return to form for the Kiwi, whose world ranking had steadily declined to 172nd over the previous three months.

He is 102nd in the "Race to Dubai" tour points standings.
