Donald Trump made waves when he called Hillary Clinton “a nasty woman” during Wednesday's debate, but Texas Republican Rep. Brian Babin is OK with that jab.

“I think sometimes a lady needs to be told when she's being nasty," Babin, a Trump supporter, told The Alan Colmes Show Thursday in an interview first reported by CNN.

Colmes repeatedly asked Babin whether he agreed with Trump's characterization that Clinton was a “nasty woman." After repeated attempts to sidestep the question, Babin finally said, “I agree.”

Others, meanwhile, are trying to adopt the "nasty woman" slogan in a positive light.

On Thursday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., tweeted out a congratulations to Clinton using #Nastywoman.

And the clothing brand Nasty Gal changed their name to “Nasty Woman.”

Spotify announced that people streaming Janet Jackson’s song “Nasty” had gone up 250% between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
