Two men who were allegedly involved in trafficking people into New Zealand illegally, and also exploiting them at work are set to appear for a pre-trial hearing.

Faroz Ali is accused of charging people large sums of money for the opportunity to work in New Zealand among other charges, while Jafar Kurisi allegedly exploited illegal migrant workers by paying them less than the minimum wage and providing poor accommodation and food.
