New Zealand's Michael Hendry has dropped one place to seventh with a round to play at the Japan Golf Tour event in Nagoya.

Hendry carded a one-over 71 in his third round at The Crowns tournament to be one-under, eight strokes behind Japanese leader Daisuke Kataoka.

On the US PGA Tour, Kiwis Danny Lee and Tim Wilkinson were 38th and 51st respectively following the completion of the second round early on day three of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

World No.42 Lee dropped two shots in his last seven holes of the weather-affected round to plunge 29 places.

He was four-under, one stroke ahead of Wilkinson and eight shots behind American leader Brian Stuard.

In Beijing, Ryan Fox could only manage an eight-over 80 to drop 10 places to 66th at the China Open.

He is a distant last of the golfers to make the cut at the European Tour event and, on five-over, sits 21 strokes behind co-leaders Lucas Bjerregaard of Denmark and Felipe Aguilar of Chile.
