Lydia Ko has made some headway on the second day of the latest LPGA event in Korea but is still a long shot to win.

World No.1 Ko improved from 63rd to 33rd at the KEB Hana Bank championship in Incheon courtesy of a three-69.

The New Zealander shot only one bogey on day two, compared to five in her opening round at the Sky 72 Golf Club's Ocean Course.

Looking to break a three-month winless run, Ko is on even-par and will need a stunning finish to haul in the leaders.

World No.21 Brittany Lang carded 65 on Friday to lead on 10-under, one shot clear of another American, Alison Lee.
