'Inappropriate' driver lurks around school

NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 28/05/2016

Police are looking for a man in Dunedin who lurked around a primary school in his car and made "inappropriate comments" to a student.

The man was seen driving around Fairfield School, and approached the student on Friday afternoon, police say.

He is described as a clean shaven Caucasian with dark hair shaven at the sides and longer on top.

He is thought to be in his twenties and was driving a light blue four-door hatchback, with black seats.

Police will maintain a presence around the school over the next week, but have asked students and parents to be vigilant about safety travelling to and from school.
