A talented dog stunned the audience when he 'performed CPR' on his handler at Crufts on Saturday.

Italy's Got Talent stars Lusy Imbergerova and Deril wowed with their brilliant four-minute army-inspired routine at the world's largest dog show, which kicked off on Thursday.

But it was the incredible ending, which saw the canine giving Lusy the kiss-of-life, that earned the loudest applause.

Lusy pretended to be unconcious on the floor after 'being hit with a grenade', but came to life after Deril repeatedly pressed his paws against her chest and gave her mouth to mouth.

Elsewhere in their routine, Deril performed sit-ups and push-ups alongside his handler.

Lusy and Deril's performance was heaped with praise on social media, but some viewers said they had been robbed when they only finished in second place.

"How could the judges award second place to this duo. They must be blind!" one commented.

"This actually brought tears to my eyes," said a second.

"Brilliant! Such a pleasure to watch the union between a dog and it's owner," wrote a third.

Best In Show judging, arguably the most popular event, will start at around 4.45pm today.
