Five senior All Whites have been included in the New Zealand side to compete at the FIFA under-20 World Cup in Korea.

Two weeks out from their opening game against Vietnam in Cheonan, coach Darren Bazeley named a 21-strong Junior All Whites squad gathered from all parts of the globe.

Midfielders Clayton Lewis, Moses Dyer and Henry Cameron, striker Logan Rogerson and defenders Dane Ingham have all played for the New Zealand senior team.

Bazeley said it was hard to finalise a squad he hopes can surpass their achievement at 2015 tournament staged in New Zealand, when they reached the round of 16.

Following victory at the Oceania championship in Vanuatu last September, Bazeley has had to select from a deep number of options, playing professionally in Europe, the United States, Australia and New Zealand.

"We are really happy with the squad we have named," he said.

"It is an experienced and exciting squad, we have some good players and we are ready to go and take on this big challenge."

There are 11 players who represented New Zealand at the under-17 World Cup in 2015, including Sunderland FC goalkeeper Michael Woud.

Following the Vietnam match, the Junior All Whites face Honduras and European champions France, who Bazeley labelled tournament favourites.

New Zealand will have an eight-day training camp in China featuring warm-up matches against their Mexican counterparts and senior club opposition.
