New Zealand have been crowned Oceania under-20 champions for a sixth time after an emphatic 5-0 win over hosts Vanuatu in the final.

The Junior All Whites led 2-0 at halftime in Port Vila and never looked like losing after Vanuatu's Frederick Massing was shown a red card for lashing out at Myer Bevan with 20 minutes remaining.

Bevan scored soon afterwards and Lucas Imrie fired home another in the dying moments.

The unbeaten New Zealanders also dominated the first half, scoring through Hunter Ashworth and Moses Dyer, who was the beneficiary when Bevan's shot rebounded off the upright.

By reaching the final, both sides automatically qualified for next year's under-20 World Cup in Korea.

Bevan finished the tournament with five goals, the equal most alongside Dwayne Tiputoa of the Cook Islands.
