A Kiwi family are mourning the deaths of three teenagers killed in a fiery crash between two trucks and a car in Australia.

Jack Pink, 19, and his sisters, Marina, 17, and Destiny, 15, were killed in the collision on the Newell Highway, near the Queensland-NSW border, early on Monday morning.

In a GoFundMe page set up for the teens' parents, uncle Justin Watene said they were part of a tight-knit family and survived by four siblings.

"[Parents Jaze and Glen] are great people and their sacrificial love for their kids knows no bounds," he said.

"To lose one would be crazy. They lost three in one split second is just out of this world."

Marina would have turned 18 on Tuesday, he said.

The page had received $A54,000 ($NZ56,911) in donations from about 400 people by Tuesday morning, along with hundreds of comments.

Police were investigating the crash and the deaths have been referred to the coroner.
