New Zealand tennis players Artem Sitak and Marcus Daniell are through to the doubles semi-finals at the Stuttgart ATP tournament in Germany.

The Kiwi pair downed Germans Michael Berrer and Jan-Lennard Struff 6-2 7-5 to earn a match against Romanian second seeds Florin Mergea and Horia Tecau.

Sitak and Daniell continued their impressive form after beating German Philipp Kohlschreiber and Dominic Thiem of Austria 4-6 6-3 10-4 in a rain-delayed match.

Daniell says the New Zealanders have been pleased with their consistency.

"Artem and I have both been playing good tennis, we both love the grass and we're confident on court against anyone," he said.

"Artem has a winning history here in Stuttgart and we are taking a positive vibe into our semifinal."

Sitak won his first career ATP doubles title at Stuttgart in 2014 with Polish player Mateusz Kowalczyk.

In the Netherlands, New Zealander Michael Venus and Croatian partner Mate Pavic are through to the doubles final at the s-Hertogenbosch ATP tournament.

They will play Britain's Dominic Inglot and South African Raven Klaasen after accounting for American Scott Lipsky and Mexico's Santiago Gonzalez 6-4 6-4 in the semis.
