NZ NewswireNZ Newswire 26/05/2016

About 70 Kiwi soldiers have arrived home from Iraq.

The returning personnel, who were deployed last November, were welcomed home to Ohakea on Thursday.

New Zealand has had more than 100 troops in Iraq since May 2015, helping Australian troops train Iraqi forces to fight the Islamic State group.

At the beginning of the month, a new rotation of 100 troops were flown out to Camp Taji.
