After winning four bronzes in the opening week, the Kiwis will battle for world titles in the men's singles, the women's pair and the men's four.

Shannon McIlroy, who went through section play with just one loss, edged Australian Aron Sherriff 21-17 to qualify for Sunday's final at Burnside where he'll meet Canada's Ryan Bester.

In the women's pair, Jo Edwards and Angela Boyd won a tight battle with England's Ellen Faulkner and Sophie Tolchard 13-11 to secure a finals berth.

The Kiwis suffered only one loss in nine games of section play, but it was a 22-15 defeat to the English pair on Thursday.

Edwards and Boyd now meet Jess Sims and Laura Daniels in Sunday's final after the Welsh duo downed Scotland's Lauren Baillie and Lesley Doig 20-11.

And the men's four, led by Ali Forsyth, looked comfortable in accounting for Scotland 20-3 to set up final against the Mark Casey-skipped Australians, who downed Ireland 22-10.
