Ryan Fox has enjoyed another solid beginning to a European Tour event, sharing 18th at the BMW International Open in Munich.

Fox mixed six birdies with four bogeys in his four-under 68 to be four strokes behind Australian leader Wade Ormsby.

It has been a mixed season to date for the Kiwi No.3, who has failed to capitalise on some decent starts in recent tournaments.

Meanwhile, Danny Lee is 37th at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut, after opening with a two-under 68 to be five shots shy of American leader Jordan Spieth.

Two other Kiwis on the US PGA Tour were less impressive and are placed outside the top 100. Tim Wilkinson shot 72 and Steve Alker 73.
